How to get there
The Irshim Tuna Station is located in the Pastaza province of the Ecuadorian Amazon near the community Uwijint.
The station is located approximately 4 hours walk from the main road. This means that volunteers need to go to the community Arutam (How to get to Arutam) were FUNDECOIPA has its office. From there they will need to hire a guide (10 USD) in to take them there. Volunteers might need to spend a night in Arutam, depending on the availability of guides.
